Lazaro as ASEAN envoy to visit Myanmar Wednesday --Thai FM

BANGKOK — Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro, who also currently serves as ASEAN's special envoy for Myanmar, will visit Naypyidaw on Wednesday and Thursday, her Thai counterpart said.

Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow told reporters on Tuesday that the itinerary "is being worked out," and there was no immediate indication whether Lazaro would meet with detained former democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi. — Reuters
