Roma have not yet finished their transfer campaign, as Sky Sport Italia report a deal is done for Anass Salah-Eddine to join Panathinaikos on loan with option to buy.
The window might’ve closed already in most leagues, but it remains open a little longer in Greece.
This has allowed the Giallorossi to further whittle down their squad of players who are not part of coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s project.
Salah-Eddine not part of Roma plans

The 24-year-old Morocco international left-back is expected to be in Greece later today to undergo medical tests and put pen to paper on the contract.
Salah-Eddine is set to join Panathinaikos on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
However, there is no clause or condition to make it a permanent purchase.

Roma paid €8.5m to buy him from FC Twente in February 2025, but he made practically no impact, with just three appearances and one assist.
Salah-Eddine spent last season on loan in the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven.
