The Director General of the NSC, Bukola Olopade, announced the changes during a meeting with General Secretaries of the national sports federations in Abuja.
Mr Olopade commended the secretaries for their professionalism, commitment and sacrifices toward the development of Nigerian sports, as well as their support for the commission since the appointment of the current leadership led by Chairman Shehu Dikko and himself as Director General.

This is how much the Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, and I believe in all our secretaries and their professional expertise,” Mr Olopade said.
He added: “I have always said that the secretaries are the lifeline of our sports. They play a very critical role in the fulfilment of our mandate at the NSC to statutorily regulate and develop sports in the country, in line with the mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”
