Sources: Wolves' Edwards to miss up to 2 months after knee procedure

Translate

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee that will sideline him for up to two months, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Edwards has been on the injury report with the injury, the same leg he dealt with runner's knee last season.

Edwards most recently scored 47 points in Minnesota's overtime loss at Cleveland on Monday. It was the seventh time in Edwards' five-year career he had at least 47 points in a game.

The Timberwolves are off to a 3-1 start and host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
