4 Cavite robbery suspects arrested

LUCENA CITY – The Cavite police arrested four robbery suspects in Trece Martires City on Saturday.The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) its police operatives, armed with an arrest warrant apprehended a suspect in Barangay Conchu around 10 a.m.
Police intelligence reportedly linked the suspect to a robbery group operating in the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) and neighboring regions.The three other individuals were also arrested after police allegedly found them in possession of one .45-caliber pistol, one 9mm pistol, two .38-caliber revolvers, 17 rounds of live ammunition and two hand grenades.Police also recovered various tools allegedly used in burglary, including a hydraulic jack, shovel, crowbar, sledgehammer and two chisels.According to police, the four suspects were believed to be members of a so-called “termite robbery group,” whose alleged modus operandi involves digging underground tunnels to gain access to target establishments.The four suspects were taken into police custody and will face formal complaints,
