At least one of the couple’s children was also inside the house during the harrowing early-morning ordeal.
According to Daily Mail, the assailants were armed with pistols and confronted the family, forcing Gulacsi at gunpoint to open a household safe and hand over high-value belongings.
The raid lasted roughly an hour before the perpetrators fled the scene in two luxury vehicles. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported, though the severe emotional shock prompted Villarreal’s management to withdraw Gulacsi from the matchday squad.

Consequently, the Hungarian was ruled out of Villarreal’s high-profile Champions League clash against Napoli. Despite the disruption, the Spanish side secured an impressive 3-1 victory at the Estadio de la Ceramica in his absence.
Local authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident, though no arrests have been made at this time.
