#SHOWBIZ: Nubhan's ex-wife Dr Fie gets engaged to businessman

KUALA LUMPUR: Dentist Dr Afifah Hidayah Ahmad Tawfek, fondly known as Dr Fie, has turned the page to a new chapter in her life following her engagement to a local businessman on Aug 2.

The former wife of singer Nubhan Ahamad got engaged in a modest ceremony at her family home in Seremban, Negri Sembilan.

A source close to the 36-year-old confirmed the news, sharing that the couple have grown close over time.

"Yes, she is engaged. Her fiancé is also a divorcee, and they have fully accepted each other," the source revealed.

But details regarding the wedding date remain under wraps.

Rumours first started circulating when Dr Fie posted photos on social media showing her dressed in an elegant white modern baju kurung, seated on a quaint mini pelamin (bridal dais).

Followers were quick to spot a sparkling ring on her finger.

Although she did not explicitly mention the occasion in her post, the photos prompted a wave of congratulations from fans celebrating her newfound happiness.

Dr Fie and Nubhan officially finalised their divorce at the Sepang Lower Syariah Court in Selangor in December 2025 after nearly a decade of marriage.
