President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on her birthday
Tinubu conveyed his birthday wishes to Dabiri-Erewa in a statement he issued on Sunday, describing her as a devoted public servant and committed party faithful who began her career as a broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority.
The President praised her commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged, as well as her contributions to social justice for Nigerians at home and abroad.
“Abike has demonstrated love for the country and humanity over many years by consistently placing the welfare and well-being of the underprivileged at the centre of her work.
“I have noted the passion, diligence, and foresight that Dabiri-Erewa brings to her work as a journalist, lawmaker, and chief executive of NIDCOM, particularly her historic roles in pursuing social justice for Nigerians at home and abroad.

“As you mark another special day, I pray for God’s blessings, wisdom and good health to carry on the good work you are championing,” the President said.
Dabiri-Erewa, a former member of the House of Representatives, chaired the House Committee on Media and Publicity and headed the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs while representing her Ikorodu Constituency from 2003 to 2015.
