    “Important match for us, want to put runs on the board. We have one change, Pratika is resting and Kamalini is in,” says Harmanpreet.

    Athapaththu says she was looking to bowl first.

    “Good toss for us to lose. As a country we need to improve our cricket. One change for us as well, Vishmi is in for Kavindi,” says Athapaththu.

    In reply, Chamari Athapaththu’s side chased down the target without breaking a sweat. Athapaththu herself led from the front with a 61 off 43 balls, before Harshitha Samarawickrama (69* off 51 balls) Kavisha Dilhari (30* off 14 balls) wrapped up the proceedings with eight wickets and eight balls to spare.
