Eisenkot leads most polls, but Netanyahu shortens distance, according to some of the top pollers

Five polls published on Wednesday night showed a divided political landscape, with Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar holding a slight advantage over Likud at the party level, but with no clear outcome between the blocs.

While Eisenkot led in most of the polls, a Channel 14 survey presented the opposite picture, significantly strengthening the Netanyahu bloc. At the same time, Ofer Winter’s People of Israel has established itself above the electoral threshold, while the Hendel-Zelicha list remains on the margins and affects the distribution of seats.

KAN News poll: Eisenkot leads, but blocs remain deadlocked

A KAN News poll showed Eisenkot’s party still leading with 24 seats. Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, dropped by one seat to 20, while Naftali Bennett’s B’Yahad remained stable at 12.

Both Ofer Winter’s party and the Hendel-Zelicha list crossed the electoral threshold with four seats each.

The balance between the blocs remained inconclusive, with 52 seats on each side, leaving neither with a majority to form a government.

Channel 13 poll: Likud hits low, but Netanyahu bloc strengthens

According to a Channel 13 poll, Eisenkot’s Yashar led with 22 seats, while Netanyahu’s Likud fell to a low of 18.

Despite this, the Netanyahu bloc strengthened to 54 seats, compared with 52 for the change bloc.

On the Right, the alliance between Religious Zionist Party and Zehut, led by Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin, surged to eight seats. Itamar Ben-Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit, Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu, and the Joint List also received eight seats each.

Channel 12 poll: Change bloc weakens, Likud and Otzma Yehudit lose three seats

Yashar continued to lead in the Channel 12 poll with 23 seats, down two from the previous survey.

Netanyahu’s Likud also weakened, losing one seat to reach 20.

The biggest shift was in the balance between the blocs. The bloc opposed to Netanyahu fell by two seats to 66, including 54 seats for Zionist parties and 12 for Arab parties.

At the same time, the coalition also weakened by two seats to 50.

Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelicha shifted the situation, with their list crossing the electoral threshold and winning four seats. As a result, it effectively sits in a “third bloc,” outside the two main camps.

Within the anti-Netanyahu bloc, the Joint List also strengthened at the expense of some of the bloc’s Zionist parties.

Channel 14 poll shows opposite picture: Right at 64 seats, Likud still first

While other polls left the political system deadlocked or showed a slight advantage for the bloc opposed to Netanyahu, the Channel 14 poll presented a different picture, with 64 seats for the right-wing bloc.

Likud remained the largest party with 30 seats, down one, while Eisenkot’s Yashar also lost one seat to stand at 21.

Bennett’s B’Yachad rose from seven to eight seats, as did United Torah Judaism. Yisrael Beytenu fell from seven to six.

There was also movement within the Arab parties: Hadash-Ta’al-Balad rose to seven seats, while Ra’am fell to five, leaving their combined strength unchanged at 12 seats.

Channel 16 poll: Winter and Hendel-Zelicha clear electoral threshold

The biggest surprise in the Channel 16 poll came from the parties hovering around the electoral threshold.

Ofer Winter’s People of Israel and the joint list of Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelicha each crossed the threshold with four seats, altering the balance between the blocs.

The Netanyahu bloc stood at 52 seats, compared with 53 for the opposition.

Eisenkot’s Yashar led the poll with 21 seats. Netanyahu’s Likud came second with just 18 seats, while Bennett’s Beyahad strengthened to 16.

Three parties tied for fourth place with nine seats each: the Democrats, Otzma Yehudit, and Shas.

Eisenkot leads polling average, Netanyahu close behind as political map remains stuck

Across the five polls, Eisenkot’s Yashar averaged 22.2 seats, ahead of Likud’s 21.2.

Bennett’s B’Yachad ranked third with an average of 12.2 seats, followed by the Democrats with 9.2.

The bloc picture remained inconclusive. The Netanyahu bloc, including People of Israel, averaged 54.4 seats, compared with 51 for the Zionist opposition parties.

The Arab parties together averaged 12.2 seats, while the Hendel-Zelicha list averaged 2.4.

Against the backdrop of the figures, Barak Seri warned of a weakening trend within the change bloc.

According to Seri, a bloc that stood at around 60 to 61 seats until roughly two months ago is now polling at around 53 to 54, having lost six to seven seats in a short period.

Seri argued that the bloc’s focus on internal questions and scenarios for forming a government without 61 seats was driving away undecided voters, particularly former Likud voters.

He said that instead of focusing on the question of partnering with Ra’am, the bloc should return its attention to October 7 and the issue of haredi military enlistment.
