Strictly Come Dancing's Craig and Anton as Oasis has viewers "cackling" and 'spitting out their drinks'

Translate

It's Icons Week on Strictly Come Dancing, which means that all of the celebrity contestants are dancing to songs from some of the biggest musical artists of all time, and dressing up accordingly.

And, of course, the judges got in on the fun too, raiding the BBC costume cupboard to portray even more household names.

Motsi Mabuse came out as Beyoncé in her yellow 'mom' t-shirt and short shorts Coachella look, Shirley Ballas replicated one of the many looks from Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' video (which also featured Beyoncé, lest we forget!), while Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood donned parkas and oval sunglasses to come out as Oasis.

Viewers loved their take on Noel and Liam, with one even stating that the duo "stole the show" for them.

"Craig and Anton as Oasis I'm SCREAMING," wrote another fan, while a further said "Craig and Anton dressed as the Gallagher brothers is killing me" and another viewer commented "I am absolutely crying".

And the posts kept on coming: "CACKLING at Craig and Anton as oasis" enthused one viewer, while another said that they "Nearly spat my drink out when I saw Craig and Anton come on out there".

"Craig & Anton are the perfect replacements for Noel & Liam if they have a major fall out again before their big UK tour next year," joked a viewer, while another quipped: "I wish Craig & Anton would take off their coats or they won't feel the benefit when they go outside."

Multiple people thought that Craig looked more like Kevin the Teenager from Kevin & Perry, while one compared him to one of the Flowerpot Men and another thought he resembled one of The Wurzels instead.

Elsewhere in tonight's episode, Dame Sarah Storey danced to Shania Twain's 'That Don't Impress Me Much', and the real Shania popped up with a video message wishing her well!

Strictly Come Dancing airs on weekends on BBC One and streams on iPlayer.
