Alleged school shooting reported in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat --gov

A shooting incident was reported at Isulan National High School in Sultan Kudarat on Wednesday morning, Governor Datu Pax Ali S. Mangudadatu said.

In a public advisory, Mangudadatu said there have been no confirmed reports of wounded or fatalities related to the reported shooting as of the latest available information.

“As of this time, there are 𝐍𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 of wounded or fatalities related to the alleged ‘shooting incident’ at Isulan National High School,” he said.

He added that based on the latest information, all students and teachers are safe.

Mangudadatu urged parents and guardians not to panic and asked the public to rely only on verified information.

He said authorities were already on the ground and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and security of everyone.

The governor also advised the public to wait for official updates from the Isulan Municipal Police Station and the local government of Isulan, and to refrain from spreading unverified reports.
