Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) received two Lockheed Martin Aeronautics supplier awards in mid-October 2026, celebrating its performance as a Lockheed Martin supplier in 2025.

IAI received the Mission Focused Award for its  F-16 Wings, Vertical Fin, and Conformal Fuel Tank programs, and the Ahead of Ready Award for its F-35 Wings program.

The company has supplied Lockheed Martin with the wings for F-35 fighter jets since 2014, delivering over 350 wings. It also supplies major aerostructures for the F-16, namely the wings, vertical fins, and conformal fuel tank - which was co-developed by Lockheed Martin and IAI.

Lockheed Martin's annual Supplier Award program is designed to recognize "suppliers that meet the company’s standards for quality, delivery, operational performance and customer support," IAI explained in a statement. Receiving recognition in two separate categories is a way for Lockheed Martin to thank IAI for its performance on both programs.

"For years, our teams have worked side by side, delivering quality, value, and on-time performance with consistency and reliability," Yaacov Berkovitz, EVP and GM of IAI’s Aviation Group, explained.

"This shared commitment to excellence enables us to support critical programs, meet demanding requirements, and help ensure success for Lockheed Martin," he said.

"Trust is the foundation of our partnership with Lockheed Martin."

IAI, Lockheed Martin are committed to continued partnership

"The partnership between IAI and Lockheed Martin spans nearly four decades and is built on mutual trust, technological cooperation and a shared commitment to supporting critical aerospace and defense programs," IAI President and CEO Guy Bar Levy said in a statement.

"Over the years, our companies have worked together to meet evolving operational needs and deliver advanced capabilities to customers worldwide."

Vice President of Lockheed Martin's Global Supply Chain, Kyle Franklin, said that "To be recognized as a recipient of both the Mission Focused and Ahead of Ready Supplier Awards is an outstanding achievement by IAI."

It is "a fitting testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of a highly professional team," Franklin added.
