Emmerdale reveals first look at Dawn's funeral as Joe and Graham hide a secret

Emmerdale has released a first-look clip from the episode airing Monday (21 September), which centres around Dawn Fletcher's funeral. If you've seen the spoilers for next week, you'll know the event is set to be quite dramatic.

The short clip shows vicar Charles Anderson holding a small ceremony for the few people allowed to attend, something that Graham Foster turns up late to.

Kim Tate chastises him and asks him where he's been, but he doesn't say anything.

Instead, he shares a silent look with Joe, who nods while looking down towards the ground...

If you didn't already know, the shocking secret Joe and Graham are hiding is that they're going to bury Ruby Miligan alive – or maybe already have at this point.

Spoilers have revealed that this is just step one of Joe's revenge plan against the Miligans, whom he blames for the chain of events that led to Dawn's death on their wedding day.

Step two is that Joe will tell Caleb exactly what has happened – but not where Ruby is buried – and then watch his arch-enemy spiral.

But can Caleb find Ruby before she runs out of air and dies herself? Will Joe really allow her to die, or can he be convinced that taking another life won't bring Dawn back?

It's not the only clip from next week's episode that you can watch early, as Emmerdale has also released a sneak peek at Vinny admitting to Joe that he was responsible for the car crash that killed Dawn and Jimmy.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX and YouTube.
