Entry hours cut short as large crowds at lantern display spark safety fears
Thousands of Hongkongers packed Victoria Park on Friday night to enjoy a dazzling display of lanterns celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board has held its inaugural International Lantern Spectacular at the park in Causeway Bay, showcasing more than 3,000 designs from various countries and regions.
Among those admiring the installations and taking photos was Ho Hon-kuen.
