Cheap Trick To Take a Break from Touring in 2027
Cheap Trick have announced that the band will take a break from touring in 2027, but emphasized it’s “not for health reasons.”
Speculation surrounded the band recently when a couple of venues had announced that Cheap Trick had canceled their scheduled 2027 concerts. The legendary rock band posted a statement on Thursday clarifying its status, explaining they will still honor their upcoming November shows before resting up in 2027:
“Many thanks to everyone who has expressed concern for us. To clear things up, we’ve decided to take some time off after decades of touring because we need a break. Not for health reasons. We’ll play our November shows and then take our first break in 50 years. Thank you for all your support! — Cheap Trick”
Cheap Trick’s upcoming leg of their “All Washed Up” tour kicks off November 5th in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and runs through a November 22nd show in Detroit. Pick up tickets here (use code COS20 to get $20 off a first-time purchase of $200 or more).
