Prudential bought a 34% stake in Alexforbes in 2022, but has decided to exit emerging markets to focus on the US, Japan and Europe. Alexforbes announced on Friday that it would buy most of Prudential’s stake, equal to a 29% shareholding in the group, in a R2.6 billion transaction.
