IDF kills Hamas commander who held several former Israeli hostages in Gaza City strikes

The IDF killed  Muhammad Muhsen Nimr Yazji, a commander of Hamas's Shati Battalion who held several former hostages during strikes in Gaza City on Monday, the military announced on Thursday evening.

The former hostages Yazji held captive include Emily Damari, Romi Gonen, and Matan Angrest.

In separate strikes on Tuesday, the IDF also killed Muhammad Fawzi Muhammad Awad Gamal, a terrorist who served in Hamas's Daraj Tuffah Battalion.
