Prince Harry has been spotted enjoying a beer in the stands at a rugby match as he settles back into his life in the UK.

The Duke of Sussex was seen chatting with a friend with a pint in hand this evening as he watched Leicester Tigers take on Gloucester Rugby at Welford Road Stadium.

It is understood that the prince was booed by fans at the Leicester rugby ground when he was shown on the big screen before cameras quickly cut away.

In one shot Harry was deep in conversation with a friend who joined him for the game.

And in another Harry appeared to cheer in excitement during a particularly thrilling part of the game.

While at a different point during this evening's match, Harry looked deep in concentration.

Before the game started the 42-year-old was seen shaking hands with staff at the stadium.

The two clubs were battling it out tonight for the Slater Cup in honour of Ed Slater – the former captain for both sides who was forced to retire in July 2022 after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

Leicester won the game with 38 points to Gloucester's 31.

The sighting comes after his wife, Meghan Markle, had dinner with Malala Yousafzai at Claridge's in central London on Wednesday.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, and the Nobel Peace Prize winner, 29, first joined forces in 2020 for a virtual discussion to mark International Day of the Girl, talking about the importance of girls' education.

Video taken by a diner at Claridge's and posted on social media shows Meghan and Malala sat at a table in the corner of the luxury restaurant, with the Duchess facing the room and the activist sitting opposite.

The Duchess looked elegant in a white turtle neck jumper, while Malala kept her tan-coloured jacket on for the meal.

Meghan's outing marked her first public sighting in London since she and Harry moved back to Britain with their two children, seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet, in August.

Meanwhile, Harry has been seen in London, including earlier this month when he made a surprise appearance at a black-tie gala for Ukraine.

The gala was held to raise money for organisations supporting Ukraine as the war entered its fourth year in February.

He spoke at the event about the historical ties between Britain and Ukraine before sharing his own experience during recent trips to the war-torn nation.

The Duke has also attended the inaugural Invictus Spirit Awards at the Old Royal Naval College in the capital.

And in September, Harry was pictured smiling at the Tower Bridge Studios in London and signing a mural on a wall during a pseudo-royal engagement.
