“I Gave Him All My M-Pesa Money”: Dem Wa Facebook Recalls Past Heartbreak

Digital content creator and comedian Milicent Ayuwa, popularly known as Dem wa Facebook, has offered her candid perspectives on modern relationships, addressing topics surrounding financial sacrifice, infidelity, and dating dynamics.

Speaking during an interview published on Thursday, September 24, 2026, the entertainer reflected on personal experiences with heartbreak, recalling an instance where she transferred her entire M-Pesa account balance to a partner who subsequently ended the relationship.

“Nilimpea M-Pesa yangu yote. Eh, alafu ule ex akaniwacha,” she recounted, lightheartedly describing how her gesture was met with rejection when her partner ultimately chose someone else.

Addressing the issue of infidelity, Dem wa Facebook presented a humorous critique of double standards in dating, arguing that mutual forgiveness should apply when partners stray. Characterizing romantic indiscretions as unexpected missteps, she advocated for parity in how couples handle relationship challenges.
