Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Deepavali celebrations should serve as a platform for people from all walks of life to strengthen friendships and foster mutual respect, said Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.

The Investment, Trade and Industry Minister said the public should also use the occasion to share the joy of the festival with neighbours and friends of different races.

"Happy Deepavali to everyone. May this festival of lights bring happiness, well-being and renewed hope to you and your family.

"I pray that this Deepavali will be filled with spiritual light, love and beautiful moments with family," he said in a statement.
