An alleged bomb threat was reported at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila on Tuesday morning, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said.
NCRPO spokesperson Police Lieutenant Colonel Hazel Asilo said the threat was sent to a school staff through Messenger.
“Ito po ay parang continuation po noong nauna nila na threat, diumano, na itutuloy nila yung sinabi nila na nakaraang araw na itutuloy na po nila yung pagpapasabog,” she told Super Radyo dzBB in an interview.
(This seems like a continuation of their previous threat, allegedly, that they will continue what they said the day before that they would continue with the bombing.)
The NCRPO is coordinating with the school's security office and validating the information.

The latest incident came amid a series of bomb threats to different schools including UST, De La Salle University (DLSU), University of the East, and Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU).
Authorities have yet to determine whether the incidents were perpetrated by the same individual or group.
Asilo said anti-cybercrime group and explosive ordnance disposal personnel were involved in the probe.
The police were implementing precautionary security measures and conducting assessments to ensure the safety of students and faculty members.
Asilo warned that individuals responsible for bomb threats could be traced and face criminal charges, even if the threats were intended as jokes or pranks.
She cited the Anti-Bomb Joke Law, which penalizes the malicious dissemination of false information concerning bombs and other explosives. —Joviland Rita/ VAL, GMA News
