Sarah Geronimo keeps low profile at Regine Velasquez’s concert amid pregnancy rumors

Amid pregnancy rumors, Sarah Geronimo alongside her husband, Matteo Guidicelli, attended the final night of Regine Velasquez’s “Finale” concert.

While other celebrities watched the concert from the arena’s regular audience seats, Geronimo and Guidicelli opted to watch from a private suite on Level 3 of the venue, away from the main audience, on the third night of Velasquez’s concert series.

A video shared by concertgoer Jose Carlo Ventosa on TikTok showed Geronimo and Guidicelli applauding as Ogie Alcasid paid tribute to Velasquez’s during the show.

Geronimo’s presence was also acknowledged by Alcasid, who told Velasquez that several celebrities were in attendance, including the “Tala” singer.

When Velasquez asked where Geronimo was, Alcasid pointed to the upper section of the arena and greeted her. The exchange prompted cheers from the audience.

Geronimo is the grand winner of the talent show “Star for a Night” in 2003 which Velasquez hosted. The Pop Princess has long been considered the Asia’s Songbird’s rightful successor in the local music scene, though the former’ star has long shone on its own. The two have also collaborated on a concert in February 2020.

Geronimo’s appearance at the “Finale” concert comes amid speculation that she and Guidicelli are expecting their first child. However, the couple have not publicly confirmed or commented on the pregnancy rumors.

The supposed pregnancy earlier surfaced after her husband received a congratulatory post from a friend who referred to the actor as a “soon-to-be daddy.”

Guidicelli’s friend further claimed that it was the actor himself who confirmed Geronimo’s pregnancy. The post was later taken down.

The couple got married in a secret civil ceremony in February 2020.
