Ruben Amorim insists ‘every game is special’ for Milan, as he shrugs off tactical questions, giving Francesco Camarda and Fikayo Tomori their first starts against RB Salzburg.
It kicks off at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg at 17.45 UK time (18.45 CEST).
There is already strong pressure growing on the Rossoneri after a disappointing start to the season, as they lost the opening Europa League tie 2-0 at home to Benfica, plus have drawn three of their last four Serie A games.
Amorim still finding Milan identity

“Every game that we have is special, Milan fans are special, and it is important for them that we win every game,” Amorim told Sky Sport Italia.
Officially, this is a three-man defence, but we’ve already seen it can adjust to four when required during the match.
“Nothing better for you guys to analyse! It doesn’t matter that much to me, it’s the principles that count, we just have to play our game.”

Fikayo Tomori is also thrown straight back into the mix after he had initially been frozen out over the summer, so has his first appearance of the season.
“I speak with all the players, he’s an experienced player, I said a month or so ago that when he stayed in the team, he would be one of the players like anyone else.”
Alexis Saelemaekers and Matteo Gabbia are going to be long-term absentees for at least two to three months.

Squad rotation this evening sees Francesco Camarda get his first start after only a handful of minutes so far this season, while Omari Hutchinson’s only previous start had him hauled off at half-time against Benfica.
This is the first ever European start for Camarda, and his first start in 282 days.
“It’s normal, it’s comfortable, when you wear the Milan jersey, whether it is in Italy or Europe, it is always special. He will certainly give his contribution this evening,” concluded Amorim.
