NBA Star Kyle Kuzma’s New Off Court Media Project Is a Business Podcast (Exclusive)

When most NBA players get into the media business, it’s usually to start a sports podcast. Not Kyle Kuzma. The Milwaukee Bucks star is launching a podcast, but unlike most athlete-led productions, his project will be all business.

Kuzma is launching Read the Room, a business podcast where he will talk investing, founding companies and taking risks with founders, business leaders, scientists, and maybe the occasional athlete or two. The first season will have 15 guests, including gaming creator and entrepreneur Brycent and prominent entrepreneur, author, and Valuetainment founder Patrick Bet-David.

The podcast will premiere later this month on Invested Inc., the platform founded by entrepreneur Brandon Harris.

“I’ve always been curious about how people think, what drives them, and what inspires them to take risks and pursue big ideas,” says Kuzma. “Over the last few years, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about different industries, investing in companies I believe in, and building relationships with some really incredible entrepreneurs and leaders. Those conversations have taught me a lot and opened my mind to new ways of thinking. With Read the Room, I want to bring people into those conversations, learn directly from individuals who are doing interesting things across different industries, and inspire others to stay curious, ask questions, and explore opportunities of their own.”

“At Invested, we’re focused on creating original formats that entertain and educate, bringing conversations about business and investing into mainstream entertainment,” added Harris. “If you’ve followed Kyle, you know there are very few people as genuinely passionate about investing and entrepreneurship as he is. His curiosity, authenticity, and relationships across industries make him the perfect person to bring these conversations to a broader audience. Read the Room is exactly the kind of show we started Invested to create.”
