Rwandan author Lisa Munezero to unveil personal growth book in Lagos

Rwandan author, entrepreneur and cultural advocate Lisa Adeline Munezero is set to unveil her new book, “The Well of Knowing: 8 Lessons of Becoming” in Lagos State on 14 November.
In a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday, Ms Munezero said the book launch will take place at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island.
She said guests will attend the event by invitation.
The book explores eight interconnected lessons on knowledge, personal growth, purposeful living and the choices that shape individual success.
According to the former Miss Rwanda contestant, the book centres on the idea that how people apply their knowledge determines the opportunities they create and the individuals they eventually become.
Ms Munezero encourages readers to rethink conventional ideas of success by examining how self-awareness, resilience, discipline and intentional actions influence the course of their lives.
She draws on her entrepreneurial journey, personal experiences and practical insights to explore these themes.
“Eight lessons”
The author further explained that the book challenges readers to reflect on how they find their purpose, respond to setbacks, turn ideas into viable opportunities and use knowledge to create lasting social impact.

Through eight lessons, she explores themes such as self-awareness, accountability, resilience, entrepreneurship, continuous learning and the transfer of knowledge between generations.
Ms Munezero argued that academic qualifications, ambition, and access to opportunities do not automatically translate into fulfilment.
According to her, individuals must also show adaptability, make sound decisions, and take deliberate steps toward their goals.
“Addressing students, aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals and emerging leaders, the book presents personal development as an ongoing journey.
“It also explores mentorship, relationships and responsible leadership as ways in which individual growth can benefit communities and future generations”, said the cultural advocate and dancer.
She said she draws on her entrepreneurial experience, cultural engagement and personal reflections in her writing.
Although the book draws on African experiences, it explores universal themes of identity, ambition, adversity and opportunity.
Professional endorsements
The publication has attracted positive reviews from individuals with backgrounds in literature and professional practice.
Isi Agboaye, founder of Step Out Creatives Publications in the United Kingdom and a dramatist, praised the book for encouraging readers to identify their purpose and translate their aspirations into action.
