The Juventus injury crisis seems to be spreading to their legends too, as Alessandro Del Piero was spotted using crutches after hurting himself during a friendly match with Ronaldinho.
The icon was eager to prove he’s still got the skills when taking to the field in Zurich on Friday for a game between retired players, with ex-Milan and Barcelona hero Ronaldinho on the opposition team.
Del Piero injured in All-Star Game

It was during The Zurich All-Star Game between Del Piero & Friends and Ronaldinho & Friends that the Italy World Cup winner attempted a cheeky back-heel flick.
It proved to be a bit unwise for the 51-year-old, as he crumpled to the ground in pain.
Del Piero left the field limping heavily and evidently it was more than a passing twinge, because he was spotted using crutches at the airport in Turin on his way home from the event today.
Maybe it was just an extension of the Juventus injury curse, seeing as they will face Fiorentina on Sunday without eight players, potentially nine depending on a late Weston McKennie fitness test.
