😈 Oklahoma's troll of Texas leads top jabs of CFB Week 6

Week 6 in college football brought wins, losses and, as always, postgame trolls.

Few wins were more dramatic than Oklahoma's victory in the Red River Rivalry over No. 1 Texas. The Sooners' defense and special teams did more than their fair share in the win; two of Oklahoma's three touchdowns came via a second-quarter punt block return and a fourth-quarter pick-six.

Fittingly, it was defense and special teams that decided the game in the final minutes. The Longhorns missed a potential go-ahead field goal attempt with less than two minutes to play, and then, after a Sooners interception set up a short field, Tate Sandell's 47-yard field goal won it for Oklahoma.

Oklahoma made sure to troll its rival after Sandell's kick sailed through the uprights. The final-score post from the Sooners included the caption "It's 6:32 and..." with the implied response being "Texas still sucks."

Oklahoma -- who also made sure to plant their flag in front of the Longhorns as the latter left the field -- wasn't the only team to jab at its opponents after a win in Week 6. Here are the other top postgame jabs from around college football.

Georgia Tech 28, Duke 25

It's rare to see a troll take direct aim at an opponent's social media account, but that was Georgia Tech's approach after its win over Duke. After a go-ahead touchdown with less than a minute to play gave the Yellow Jackets a win over the Blue Devils, Georgia Tech took to X to revisit a former post by its opponents.

On Friday, Duke's official account posted a pregame hype video captioned "The revenge tour continues." After the win, the Yellow Jackets had a simple response: "Tour ends here."

Arizona 52, West Virginia 31

Scoring was plentiful in Arizona's high-flying road win over West Virginia. The Wildcats scored 10-plus points in each quarter en route to a big-time conference victory.

Arizona took aim at the Mountaineers' staple song in the Wildcats' postgame jab, as Arizona posted a graphic showing its school mascot, Wilbur, performing a karaoke rendition of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" at Milan Puskar Stadium, with the words "Take me home" highlighted on the stadium scoreboard.

Oklahoma State 42, UCF 28

Oklahoma State's 2026 campaign got off to an inauspicious start thanks to a Week 1 loss against Tulsa. But the Cowboys have been rolling since, winning four in a row, with its most recent being an assertive victory over UCF. Drew Mestemaker threw for 304 yards as the Cowboys scored 21 unanswered points in the second half before a late Golden Knights touchdown.

Oklahoma State had one of the wittier mascot trolls of the week. In its caption of Oklahoma State's final-score post, the Cowboys referenced the weaponry of choice for Pistol Pete and UCF's Knightro: "Brought a sword to a gun fight."

Bowling Green 38, Sacramento State 10

After an 0-4 start to the season, Bowling Green seems to have found its form in conference play -- adding a second straight MAC win to the ledger by cruising past Sacramento State on Saturday.

Following the win, the Falcons took aim at their opponents' hornet moniker, posting a brown and orange Bowling Green-branded can of wasp and hornet spray -- a bottle with the potency to "kill[s] the entire nest," according to its description -- with a caption of "Hornets BeGone."

Liberty 35, Sam Houston 3

Liberty didn't have much trouble Thursday night against Sam Houston, finding the end zone at least once in every quarter en route to a dominant victory.

The Flames brought their on-field momentum to social media after the game. Liberty leaned into the two programs' mascots, with a graphic that showed an eagle carrying a bearkat through the air accompanied by the text "Easy pickings."

Jacksonville State 27, Kennesaw State 26

Jacksonville State trailed Kennesaw State 23-14 with a minute remaining in the third quarter, but the Gamecocks kicked things into gear late, scoring 13 of the game's final 16 points and eventually winning via a 33-yard field goal by Garrison Rippa with 52 seconds to play.

After the game, Jacksonville State opted for a bird-themed troll, highlighting a contrast between the two schools' respective avian nicknames -- posting a graphic of a gamecock standing atop a wooden owl sculpture. The post's caption offered a double-entendre to boot: "Hoo?"
