Real Warri Pikin wins best stand-up comedian at AFRIMMA 2026

Nigerian comedian, Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has won the Best Stand-Up Comedian award at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards.

The comedian announced the feat on her Instagram page on Sunday, celebrating her victory at the awards ceremony held in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday.

“We won #afrimma Best Stand-up Comedian 2026,” she wrote.

Real Warri Pikin emerged winner in the category ahead of fellow Nigerian comedians Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey, as well as Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, South African comedian Trevor Noah, Uganda’s Patrick “Salvado” Idringi and Kenya’s Ty Ngachira.

The African Muzik Magazine Awards, AFRIMMA, took place on September 12, 2026, at Annette Strauss Square, within the AT&T Performing Arts Centre area in Dallas, Texas.
