Emergency crews attended a scene at CuTzz Barber Salon on McArthur Avenue west of the Vanier Parkway around 5:40 p.m., according to paramedics on Tuesday.
Ottawa police said Wednesday morning a 29-year-old man died of his injuries on the way to a hospital. They did not identify him.
A 32-year-old man who was also struck was taken to hospital in serious, stable condition.
The 57-year-old woman driving faces an impaired driving charge, police said. They allege she was impaired by drugs.
McArthur was closed after the crash but has since reopened.
