Love Island star Sam Bird has stunned fans by revealing he's welcomed his first child, after keeping his wife's pregnancy completely under wraps.

The reality star shared the happy news in a post on Instagram on Sunday, with a video documenting his wife Kailah's pregnancy.

Sam shared that he's welcomed a baby boy named Sunny, with the sweet clip showing himself and Kailah with their son in his new nursery.

The video also documented the moment Kailah revealed to him she was pregnant, as well as the gender reveal showing that they were having a baby boy.

He previously appeared in the Love Island villa back in 2018, and had a short-lived romance with Georgia Steele after leaving the show, which ended after he accused her of cheating.

Fans were equally stunned to hear of the news, but were quick to share their congratulations for the couple.

They wrote: 'Whaaaaaat??? Baby bird is already here and we didn't even know!!'

'Omg this is amazing. I'm so happy for the both of you! Yall deserve all the smiles;'

'I knew she disappeared for a reason!! Congratulations mama!! Cannot wait to watch you guys grow in this next chapter.'

Sam was coupled up with Georgia on Love Island back in 2018, but their romance was short-lived after they left the villa.

The pair moved in to a luxury Essex home two weeks after Love Island ended, but broke up three months later.

Sam accused Georgia of being unfaithful, telling The Sun: 'After the ITV Gala I sensed something was wrong – I had a gut feeling.

'Georgia told me she stayed with a friend after being at a PA, she said she came home and then went back out to a friend's but that didn't seem plausible.

'I looked at her phone and found messages she sent to her mates and one of them had a selfie of her in bed with her ex and she put the word 'oops' and joked about it and I thought that's not right.

'My gut feeling was found to be true. She's not the person I thought she was.'

But Georgia hit back on social media: 'Sam thinks I cheated because he went through my phone, read and took screen shots of banter I had between me and my best mate.'

Sam went on to find love with now-wife Kailah, who he announced he was engaged to after eight months of dating, and they tied the knot in 2022.
