Taskmaster's Daisy May Cooper reveals she 'pulled out' of Celebrity Traitors – for hilarious reason

Daisy May Cooper has revealed the reason why she "pulled out" of The Celebrity Traitors. The comedian was one of the few stars who were expected to join the first series of the show, which ultimately saw Alan Carr reign as the winner.
Cooper and her brother, Charlie, were rumoured to be making an appearance last year. However, the Taskmaster and This Country star said the pair decided to withdraw from the line-up at the last minute.
During a recent interview on This Morning, Cooper explained more about the situation, revealing it was largely due to her kids that they couldn't take part.

"We were asked to do it. And then I found out about the hotel, and we weren’t going to stay in a Premier Inn and have to have the basics of a Premier Inn," she said.
"And then nobody wanted to look after my kids, because they’re a complete nightmare."
When asked if she'd seen the series, Cooper said she was saving it to watch with Selin Hizli, who she co-created and wrote Am I Being Unreasonable? with, as she'd told her she "wasn't allowed" to watch it without her.
However, Cooper didn't have hope in her abilities as a Traitor if she went on the show, adding: "No, I'd be horrendous. I'd be like a Richard E Grant and just give myself away in two minutes without even walking through the door and then say, 'Can someone take me to my Premier Inn now?'"

In a separate interview with The Independent, Cooper admitted that she"panicked" after hearing about the living conditions, which supposedly involved her and her brother not being able to share a room: "It just sounded like a f***ing nightmare."
Elsewhere in her This Morning interview, Cooper also confirmed that the third season of Am I Being Unreasonable? would be the last, saying: "There's no coming back from this [...] Yeah, this really is the end."
The Celebrity Traitors seasons one and two are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
