Bayern Munich suffered a major injury update as its Colombian winger Luis Díaz was diagnosed with a hamstring injury. The club did not mention a date of return for the forward.
“Luis Díaz picked up a minor muscle fibre tear in his left hamstring during FC Bayern’s Champions League game against Arsenal on Wednesday night,” the Bundesliga side said in a statement.
“The injury was confirmed by examinations carried out by the FC Bayern medical unit. As a result, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.”

The forward has impressed since arriving from Liverpool in 2025, scoring 31 goals and laying on 24 assists in 62 matches in all competitions.
Diaz’s injury could cause selection woes for Bayern, which already has Serge Gnabry playing in that position. But with three matches in six days and another Champions League match against Atletico Madrid next month, the club could reach into its bench for options.
