Danantara prepares project pipeline for US talks ahead of G20

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Danantara Investment Management Agency, is finalizing a portfolio of priority projects for potential partnerships with the United States ahead of the G20 Summit in Miami, officials said Tuesday.
Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, who also serves as Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, said bilateral investment talks are set to accelerate during the G20 Leaders' Summit on Dec. 14–15.
A dedicated investment forum will be hosted alongside the summit to engage global investors.
Roeslani said Danantara aims to structure bilateral agreements that maximize the commercial value of Indonesia's state-owned enterprise (SOE) assets.
Following a limited cabinet meeting convened by President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta, Roeslani also briefed leadership on Danantara’s flagship overseas project—the Indonesian Hajj Village in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The planned 4.4-hectare complex, located roughly 2.5 kilometers from the Grand Mosque, will feature 13 high-rise towers linked directly to the holy site via a dedicated tunnel network to service Indonesian pilgrims.
Groundbreaking is targeted for December.
