WEST END FINAL

A man in his 20s died on Saturday after falling onto a major road in north London.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, worked to save the young man who had fallen on to the North Circular at Wembley, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The incident on the A406 reportedly closed a section of the arterial road for at least three hours following the incident.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 8.56am on Saturday October 31 to North Circular Road, Wembley, following reports of a fall from height.

“Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

“A man, believed to be in his 20s, was found with serious injuries and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Police are working to inform the man's next-of-kin. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
