Bukidnon’s second most wanted suspect nabbed in Talakag

VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Bukidnon’s second most wanted person, who is facing a murder case, was arrested before dawn on Saturday in Talakag town, an official said.

Capt. Lance Elpedio Figuracion, officer in charge of the Talakag Municipal Police Station, said the 47-year-old driver, a resident of Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. in Sitio Maligapok, Barangay San Antonio.

The suspect also ranks as Malaybalay City’s No. 1 most wanted person.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Branch 46 of the 10th Judicial Region in Malaybalay City under Criminal Case No. 46894-25. The court recommended no bail for the murder case.

The operation was conducted in coordination with the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit, the 1004th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, and personnel from the Malaybalay City Police Station.

The suspect is in the custody of the Talakag Municipal Police Station for documentation and disposition. /mcm
