Aviator Nation’s NFL Collection Is the First Must-Have Collab of the New Football Season

The collection features vintage-inspired T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and sweatshirts from 25 NFL teams

One of the first pieces I bought when I moved to California was a pair of sweatpants from Aviator Nation, the Venice Beach-based clothing brand known for its retro-inspired sweats and cozy, colorful apparel. I lived in those sweatpants whenever I was home in my loft just down the street from Aviator Nation’s flagship store on trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd., and they soon became my go-to pants for picking up a coffee or running errands in the neighborhood too.

Founded in 2006, Aviator Nation is one of the brands that helped to define laid back California cool in the Aughts, drawing from surf and skate codes, along with Seventies-era music and style. The brand has been seen on everyone from Katy Perry and Paris Hilton, to Zac Efron and Jake Gyllenhaal; Adam Sandler even wore an Aviator Nation hoodie to the Oscars in 2025.

Aviator Nation still has its store in Venice Beach, along with Manhattan Beach and Malibu, but the brand is looking beyond the ocean and touching down on the football field with a new apparel collaboration with the NFL.

Available now on the Aviator Nation website and on Fanatics.com (where pieces are almost sold out), the collection features officially-licensed T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and sweatshirts from 25 NFL teams. All of the pieces are hand-sewn in Los Angeles and undergo a specially-designed process that gives them a broken-in look and feel. Because each piece is stitched by hand, no two items will be the exact same, giving you something that is uniquely one-of-a-kind.

Los Angeles Rams Zip Hoodie

Aviator Nation celebrates its hometown Los Angeles Rams with this zip-up hoodie, which features the team logo on one side and the brand’s embroidered striped logo on the other.

We like the contrast-color zipper and the oversized hood, which’ll keep you cozy whether you’re at a beach bonfire or chilling on the couch at home. Choose from sizes XS to XXL.

WEAR ANYWHERE PIECE

Los Angeles Chargers Helmet Relaxed Pullover Hoodie

The Aviator Nation NFL collection also includes team helmet-themed hoodies made from a super-soft tri-blend material with a lived-in look and feel. The pullover features a drawstring-less hood and an oversized kangaroo pocket in the front, along with a graphic print of your favorite team created exclusively for this collaboration.

The hoodies are available in unisex sizes XS to XXL. Aviator Nation recommends sizing up for men.

These tri-blend sweatpants feature an elastic waistband and a loose but not overly baggy fit. Buy the pants to create a matching sweatsuit set with the accompanying hoodie or pick up a pair to wear on their own.

The sweatpants are available in unisex sizes XS to XL. Reviewers say they run small so we recommend taking a size up from your normal size.

New England Patriots Relaxed Helmet Crew Sweatshirt

We like this relaxed fit sweatshirt, in a vintage-inspired heather gray color that wears in beautifully the more you wash it. This one features the Patriots logo, but you can choose from more than two dozen NFL team designs online.

This sweatshirt comes in unisex sizes XS to XXL. Customers say it fits true to size for men; women should take one size down, unless you like a baggy boyfriend fit.

In a press release, Aviator Nation says the new launch “combines the brand’s iconic retro styling with the passion and loyalty of football fandom, creating elevated sportswear designed to be worn from kickoff to everyday life.”

The Aviator Nation x NFL Collection dropped Sept. 24 (just in time for the new football season) and is already selling quickly on AviatorNation.com and Fanatics.com, as fans buy up the gameday gear for stadium visits and home viewing parties alike. The new drop comes on the heels of an Aviator Nation capsule collection released for Super Bowl LX. You can still shop pieces from that collection here. The brand also released a collaboration with Major League Baseball in May.
