QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Miriam College and the Inquirer Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Sept. 29, 2026, establishing a strategic partnership aimed at expanding student internships, faculty and professional development, and community extension programs.

​The agreement was signed by Ms. Connie Kalagayan, Executive Director of the Inquirer Foundation, and Dr. Marilu Madrunio, Dean of the Miriam College Higher Education Unit. Ms. Ching Garcia, HR and Admin Director of Inquirer Interactive, and Ms. Mae Ann Chua, Area Chair of Creative Communications and Design at Miriam College, served as witness signatories.

​While best known as the corporate social responsibility arm of the leading news and digital media outlet, the Inquirer Foundation offers comprehensive industry immersion. Through this initiative, students enrolled in Miriam College’s Communication, Business Administration, Psychology, Design, and Sustainability and Environment programs will gain hands-on, real-world experience tailored to their fields of study.

​The partnership holds special significance for the campus community, as the Inquirer Foundation is led by women executives—including Ms. Kalagayan, a proud Miriam College alumna.
