Exportações sul-coreanas disparam graças a demanda de chips de IA

As exportações sul-coreanas dispararam 83,5% em setembro, atingindo um recorde mensal, impulsionadas pelo aumento da demanda global de chips usados em inteligência artificial (IA), segundo dados oficiais divulgados nesta quinta-feira (1º).

As exportações atingiram um recorde histórico de US$ 120,9 bilhões em setembro, quase o dobro dos US$ 65,95 bilhões registrados um ano antes, segundo dados oficiais. Já as exportações de chips alcançaram um recorde de US$ 60,3 bilhões, um aumento de mais de 262% em relação ao ano anterior.

A Presidência sul-coreana anunciou em julho que a Samsung e a SK hynix abasteceriam empresas de tecnologia americanas, incluindo a Nvidia, mediante acordos no valor de US$ 950 bilhões.
