‘Thank You’ — Ajibade Salutes Retiring Super Falcons Veteran Ohale

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has paid tribute to veteran defender Osinachi Ohale following her decision to retire from international football.

Ajibade Hails True Legend Ohale

Ajibade described Ohale as “a true legend” and praised her dedication to the Nigerian national team throughout her illustrious career.

“Thank you, Osi @OhaleOsinachi, for everything you gave to Nigeria. You defended this badge with your whole heart, every single time,” Ajibade wrote on X.

“I’m so proud of you. The whole Super Falcons family is proud of you. You are a true legend.

“Enjoy this next chapter. You’ve earned it, ma’am.”

Ohale, 34, spent 16 years representing the Super Falcons, winning five Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) titles and featuring at four FIFA Women’s World Cups.

She earned 84 international caps for Nigeria before bringing her international career to an end.
