1. Eva's attack causes shockwaves

Ben sits at Eva’s hospital bedside, after she was found unconscious in the cellar at The Rovers.

Wanting to get to the bottom of what happened, Kit questions Debbie and Carl on Eva’s injuries.

Carl explains how he helped Eva to clear up as she wasn’t feeling well, before returning home.

2. Carl sparks suspicion

Debbie states that she's going to buy Eva some flowers but is suspicious when Carl pulls out his wallet, which is full of cash.

Ronnie and Kevin start to suspect that Carl might have robbed the pub and accidentally pushed Eva down the stairs in the process, but what will Debbie do with this information?

3. Tim worries about Lucy

A hungover Lucy is feeling remorseful over her latest outburst and apologises to Tim.

Later, Tim confides in Lisa over his worries that Lucy might be experiencing the same pressure from Richie.

Tim explains that Richie tried to pressure him into telling the police that Rachel was abusive towards him, and he's worried Lucy might be facing the same interrogations. However, he is unaware that Lucy is listening…

4. Shona feels left out

Shona announces that she’s going to work but is unnerved when Jodie offers to take over her domestic duties to help her out.

Shona is further irritated when she returns home to find David doing the washing up, while Jodie looks after Harper.

5. Betsy struggles with returning to work

Betsy returns to work at the factory, hoping to get some practice before her college interview.

However, Betsy soon finds herself struggling with her machine, prompting Sean to help her out.

Later in the week, Lisa accompanies a nervous Betsy to her college interview.

6. Carl is questioned by the police

Carl is taken in for questioning over Eva's attack but continues to protest his innocence.

Could someone else be responsible?

7. Jodie hatches a dark scheme

Jodie goes to the salon for a blow-dry, claiming she's preparing for a date.

When David finishes her hair, Jodie pretends to get a text saying her date has cancelled.

She then takes a bottle of champagne from her bag and convinces David to have a drink with her. What is she planning?

8. Lucy is in trouble again

Tim decides to take Sally's advice to get tougher with Lucy following her recent behaviour.

He tells Lucy that she's grounded, leaving her furious.

Afterwards, Tim takes Joanie to the café, but when he opens his wallet, he discovers someone has stolen his cash.

Suspicion immediately falls to Lucy, but is she to blame this time?

9. Nick and Toyah worry about Sam

Hope confides in Nick and Toyah about Sam's strange behaviour.

Worried, Nick and Toyah speak to Sam and encourage him to open up, but to no avail.

10. The truth about Eva's attack is revealed

Ben tells Kevin that the police still have no leads over Eva's attack, but it's not long before the truth starts to come to light.

Later, someone confesses to being responsible – but who is it?

That remains to be seen but the truth blows apart one family – and it’s clear that things will never be the same again.

11. Sam makes a shock confession

A distraught Sam confesses that he has been trading cryptocurrency using Nick’s identity.

Sam explains that he took out a credit card in Nick’s name and he's run up a debt of over £6k, leaving Nick, Toyah and Leanne all horrified.

As Nick reels from Sam's confession, he eventually admits that he will struggle to pay off the full amount, leaving Idris intrigued.

12. Jodie puts her dark plan into action

Jodie returns home with an extravagant bunch of flowers and lies that they are a gift from her date.

However, Shona later tells David that she found out from Mary that Jodie bought the flowers herself and he confirms that her date never happened.

Later, Jodie puts her dark plan into action as she rummages through Doug's belongings and swaps his anti-psychotic drugs for ordinary painkillers.

13. Carl struggles with Debbie's decline

Carl is still protesting his innocence over Eva's attack and tries to talk to Debbie about what’s happening.

When it becomes obvious that Debbie is confused and has no idea what he is talking about, Carl is forced to hide his worry.

14. Christina pushes for answers

Tim reminds Lisa about their conversation regarding Richie and Lucy and asks her to investigate it.

Christina overhears and tries to get more information from Tim in the Rovers.

When Tim hints that things may not be as straightforward as they thought, Todd takes notice.

Later, at the undertakers, Christina confides in Todd.

15. Christina makes a discovery

Sally and Lucy call the undertakers to order Rachel’s plaque.

Afterwards, Sally finds some family photo albums for them to look through, but Christina is thrown by something she sees and quickly ushers Sally and Lucy out.

16. Doug's paranoia intensifies

Jodie has swapped Doug’s medication, wanting to make him look paranoid so that he doesn’t ruin her scheme.

Unaware that Jodie has swapped his medication, Doug looks suspiciously at the radio before putting it in a cupboard.

David and Shona are worried about what's going on with Doug, but Jodie is pleased to see his paranoia growing because of her actions.

When Doug says he can hear static, Jodie turns up the volume and pretends she doesn’t know what he means.

17. Shona is given some home truths

Lily confronts Shona and accuses her of always putting Harper first.

When Lily remarks that Jodie always manages to make time for her, Shona is left feeling guilty.
