MANILA, Philippines – Former Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte appeared in person for the first time during the International Criminal Court’s third status conference hearing of his crimes against humanity case on Wednesday, September 16.

Duterte was arrested on March 11, 2025. His trial will begin on November 30, 2026.
