Moment police disguised as food delivery driver and street cleaner pounce on knife suspect

Police officers dressed as a food delivery driver and a street cleaner to swoop in and arrest a wanted gang member.

The Metropolitan Police released footage on social media on Wednesday (23 September) showing two undercover officers approaching two men with bicycles.

One officer grabs one of the men, while the other attempts to ride off on one of the bikes.

The Met said officers found a machete concealed in his waistband as well as class A drugs during a search of the suspect, and a second suspect was also arrested at the scene.
