Early morning car burglary ends in dramatic arrest on Melbourne freeway
A police operation has brought traffic to a standstill on the Monash Freeway in Melbourne's south-east.
More than a dozen police officers, some dressed in tactical gear, were seen detaining several males in the outbound lane of the Monash Freeway near Chadstone.
At least four people were taken out of a grey 4WD and handcuffed by officers.
Traffic remain backed up on the freeway, as unmarked police vehicles blocked the way.

VicTraffic said all outbound lanes of the Monash Freeway were closed at Warrigal Road at 12:30pm.
Motorists are urged to exit the Monash Freeway at High Street and take Huntingale Road to re-join the freeway.
