Babu Owino, Geoffrey Mosiria Trade Insults in Heated Online Exchange
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Nairobi County official Geoffrey Mosiria have sparked reactions online after engaging in a heated exchange on X, trading personal insults and sharp remarks.
The confrontation saw the two leaders take aim at each other’s intelligence, with Mosiria making a pointed reference to alleged drug use while Babu responded with a remark about the county official’s brain cells.
The exchange attracted attention from social media users, with neither leader appearing willing to back down.
Babu Owino Mocks Mosiria’s Intelligence
Babu appeared to fire the first personal shot, using an ice cream analogy to question Mosiria’s ability to understand predictions.
“I know you have ice cream brain cells that melt under pressure. No wonder you struggle to understand predictions,” Babu wrote on X.
The Embakasi East MP appeared to suggest that Mosiria struggles to comprehend certain issues when put under pressure, setting the stage for a sharp response from the county official.
Mosiria Responds With Drug Reference
Mosiria hit back with a stinging remark, turning the ice cream analogy against Babu while making an insinuation about the MP’s alleged reliance on stimulants.
“Better ice cream brain cells than a mind that relies on cheap stimulants and still cannot sustain an intelligent argument! At least ice cream melts naturally; arrogance and intellectual bankruptcy are much harder to cure. 😂” Mosiria wrote.
He also challenged Babu to engage in meaningful debate rather than resorting to personal attacks.
“Babu, next time come with facts, not insults. Nairobi needs brains, not noise!” he added.
Mosiria’s remarks about stimulants were part of the online exchange and were not accompanied by evidence establishing the allegation.
Mosiria Raises Examination Leakages
In a separate post, the Nairobi County official appeared to shift attention to the issue of examination irregularities, calling for action against examination leakages.
“EXAMINATION LEAKAGES MUST BE STOPPED!….” he posted.
The statement introduced a different subject into the conversation as the exchange between the two leaders continued to generate reactions online.
