Italian football legend Roberto Baggio has arrived in New York, where the local Associazione Culturale Italiana will honour him with the ‘Best Italian Player of All Time’ award.
The former Italy striker will receive the ‘Best Italian Soccer Player of All Time’ award tomorrow, Monday, October 12.
Baggio shared an Instagram story from Times Square, where one of the iconic digital screens promoted the event.
A former Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan, Bologna, Inter, and Brescia striker, Baggio is regarded as one of Italy’s best players ever.
Baggio reached the 1994 World Cup Final with the Italian national team and finished third at Italia ’90.
