5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight reveal Sadie's shock new claims

Emmerdale spoilers follow from Sunday's episode (11 October), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's Emmerdale, Sadie is in disgrace now that her lies about Jimmy have finally been exposed. When she tries to give her side of the story, is she telling the truth?

Meanwhile, Joe has a brush with the law as his downward spiral continues, and Vinny is embraced by his family on the eve of his sentencing.

Read on for five big moments from Sunday's episode…

1. Sadie visits Nicola

Sadie has finally been exposed as a shameless liar following her showdown with Nicola at Jimmy's funeral, but she's still hoping to save her reputation.

When Sadie boldly visits Nicola to explain herself, she claims that Jimmy was helping her financially because she was in an abusive relationship and needed support. Can Nicola really believe a word she says?

2. Robert continues to play puppet-master

Gabby is still on Nicola's list of enemies after her ill-fated decision to keep Vinny's secret following the crash. As she looks for a way to make amends, Robert steps in and suggests that Gabby should take action rather than rely on words.

Before long, Gabby strikes a deal to sell The Hide to Robert and use some of the proceeds to help Nicola financially. Will it be enough to get her back in Nicola's good books?

3. Robert makes a promise

Aaron is baffled when Gabby and Laurel hand over The Hide keys for him to pass on to Robert.

Robert explains how he's managed to secure the business while also looking after Nicola's interests. He promises that his scheming will finally be over once the deal is finalised – but can he really keep his word?

4. Joe comes dangerously close to drink-driving

Joe is hitting the bottle hard as he struggles with his grief after losing Dawn. However, when he's about to get behind the wheel while drunk, local detective Thea steps in to stop him.

Thea brings Joe back to Home Farm, confirming that he won't be punished this time. Kim is touched by Thea's leniency, unaware that the shifty newcomer is playing the long game with a big revenge plan!

5. Vinny starts to say his goodbyes

Vinny heads to Wishing Well Cottage, where Mandy has promised him a chippy tea ahead of his sentencing hearing tomorrow.

He's touched to find the Dingles gathered to show their love and support – it's clear that, whatever happens, his family will be right behind him.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
