Peacock’s Free Trial Offer Returns – But You Won’t Find It On the Streaming Service

Peacock subscribers were hit with another rate hike over the summer, with prices for the NBCUniversal streaming service rising for the fourth time in four years. The price hike came on the heels of Peacock dumping its free trial for new users, joining the ranks of rival streamers like Paramount+, Hulu and HBO Max, all of whom also got rid of their free trial offers.
But there’s now a way to score a discount on Peacock, as well as take advantage of a free trial, though you’ll have to look elsewhere to claim the latter. Amazon is currently offering a 7-day free trial to Peacock through its Prime Channels hub.
The deal gets you access to Peacock Premium Plus for free for one week if you sign up through Amazon. Premium Plus is the ad-free streaming tier of Peacock, and now costs $19.99/month (up from $16.99/month earlier this year).
You won’t be able to find the free trial deal on the Peacock website. With the Prime Channels deal though, you can test drive the service for a week for free, with unlimited access to the entire on-demand library of TV shows and movies, as well as hundreds of hours of live sports streaming.
Though there isn’t a catch per se, the Peacock free trial offer is only open to Amazon Prime members (not a Prime member? Get a 30-day free trial here to claim the Peacock deal and get access to exclusive member discounts just in time for Prime Big Deal Days).
Sign in with your Prime member details and then head to the Prime Video Channels homepage to claim the Peacock free trial offer. Your subscription to Peacock renews at the regular $19.99/month rate after your free trial is up. Or you can cancel at anytime to avoid being charged.
What Are the Best Peacock Streaming Deals 2026?
In addition to the Premium Plus plan, Peacock’s latest rate increase brought the price of its Peacock Premium tier (which includes ads) to $12.99/month, up from $10.99/month previously. Its Peacock Select tier, meantime (which includes current and past seasons of select TV shows, but excludes movies, live sports and Peacock originals) jumped from $7.99 to $8.99/month.
Still, there’s a way to score a discount on a Peacock subscription. The streamer is offering an annual plan discount right now that gets you 12 months of access for the price of ten.
The total price is $129 and locks in access for an entire year. That saves you 17% versus paying for Peacock month to month. The limited-time offer is available to all new and eligible returning subscribers and there is no promo code needed.
Peacock has priced its annual subscription down to as low as $79.99 a year in the past, but with the streamer being home to the recent Olympics and Super Bowl this year, it was able to raise its prices to bring in audiences for the sporting events and it’s unlikely we’ll see a further discount from the current promotion live online.
How to Get Peacock for Free

That’s in addition to perks like free shipping, free grocery delivery, special discounts, gas savings and more. Sign up for Walmart+ here (you can also test-drive the service for 30 day for just $1 here).
You can also stream Peacock online for free with Instacart+. The grocery delivery service offers an upgraded tier that gets members free grocery delivery, free restaurant delivery and an annual membership to Peacock for free.
