Hot, rainy weather expected in Egypt for Saturday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts that the weather on Saturday will be slightly hot during the day along the northern coasts; hotter in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai; and very hot in southern Upper Egypt.

Evening temperatures will be moderate across most regions.

Weather maps for Saturday indicate a chance of light to moderate rain in certain areas; intermittent wind activity is also expected, particularly in open areas.

The authority emphasized the need for caution while driving, urging motorists to maintain safe distances between vehicles, adhere to speed limits, and use their headlights.

Forecast temperatures vary across the country highs are expected to reach 37C in several cities in southern Upper Egypt, while Cairo will see a high of 31C.

Nighttime temperatures will drop, with lows reaching 21C in Cairo.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain—occurring intermittently—across parts of the North Coast, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Western Desert.

The EMA emphasized the importance of monitoring its updates regarding expected weather conditions and taking the necessary precautions to handle any changes in the weather.
