Translate

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will hold specialized workshops at its sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition to strengthen personnel skills and develop practical solutions to improve services for pilgrims.

In a statement posted on social media on Wednesday, the ministry said the workshops would build professional capabilities in operations, technology, hospitality, healthcare and logistics.

The event, scheduled for November 8–11, 2026, in Jeddah, is being organized in cooperation with the Pilgrim Experience Program, an initiative under Saudi Vision 2030. It will bring together experts, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators.

The workshops will cover three main areas: infrastructure and operational services, empowerment and integration, and development and sustainability.

The infrastructure and operational services track will address transportation and logistics, infrastructure and facilities management, accommodation and hospitality, and technology and innovation.

The empowerment and integration track will focus on security and safety, healthcare, media and communications, and catering and nutrition.

The development and sustainability track will cover civil society organizations, entrepreneurship, enhancing the pilgrim experience, and training, professional development and capacity building.

Through the workshops, the ministry aims to improve personnel capabilities and showcase innovations that could help strengthen the organization and delivery of Hajj services.

The ministry has invited organizations, specialists and other interested parties to register through its website: https://hajjconfex.com/visitor-registration.
